Voltaren Emulgel is a clinically proven pain-relieving gel. This gel may be used for the temporary relief of local pain and inflammation in acute soft tissue injuries, including sprains, strains and sports injury, and localised soft tissue rheumatism, including tendinitis and bursitis.
Voltaren Emulgel contains the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), diclofenac. Diclofenac works to relieve pain and reduce inflammation (swelling). The Emulgel technology helps the gel to penetrate deeply into the skin to enhance delivery of diclofenac to the site of pain. Voltaren Emulgel has a cooling, moisturising effect with no strong odours.
Voltaren Emulgel is used to treat pain and inflammation of muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments, due to sprains and strains, sports injuries (eg. tennis elbow) and soft tissue rheumatism (eg. bursitis; tendinitis).
Warnings
Always read the label and follow the directions for use. For external use only. Excessive use may be harmful.
Do not use Voltaren Emulgel:
- On children under 12 years
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
- If you are allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, any other anti-inflammatory medicines or pain relievers
- If tube seal is broken or missing
Stop use and see your doctor immediately if:
You experience an allergic reaction.
While using this product:
- Unless a doctor or pharmacist has told you to, do not use this product with other medicines that you are taking regularly
- Avoid contact with eyes.
Contains isopropyl alcohol as a preservative.

Usage Directions
Adults and children over 12 years: rub the gel gently into the affected area. Apply three or four times each day. The amount you will need will depend on the size of the affected area. Usually, an amount ranging in size from a cherry to a walnut will be enough.
Use for up to two weeks, if needed. Do not use for more than 2 weeks except on medical advice.
