There is an olive-oil-derived ceramide, which Amway says helps maintain the skin's moisture barrier; white chia seed oil, listed by Amway for the plant nutrients and antioxidant content it brings; and bamboo complex water. Glycerin is present as a humectant. Amway states that this version is formulated without sulphate surfactants, parabens, phthalates, mineral oils and artificial colourants, under its Personal Care Clean Standards, and that it carries Vegan Society registration with no animal-derived material and no animal testing. Amway also calls it dermatologist-tested and allergy-tested. We found no independent testing of either version. The complete ingredient list for 125913 is not published anywhere we could retrieve, so it has to be read off the pack.

250 g is the weight of the box, not of each piece

The 250 g figure is the weight of what is in the box, not the weight of each piece. Item 118112 came as one 250 g block, labelled 9 oz, scored so it could be snapped into three pieces of roughly 83 g each, and Amway suggested reserving one piece for facial use while the other two stayed joined for the body. It is true soap, not a sulphate detergent bar

Both generations are made from saponified oils rather than synthetic detergents, which is what separates a soap bar from the sulphate-based cleansing bars sold alongside it. Sodium palmate and sodium cocoate open the older ingredient list, and sodium palmate is palm-derived, so palm content is a live question here; because item 125913 is also a saponified-oil bar with an unpublished list, that question is not closed for the current version either. Soap of this kind carries its softening ingredients separately, and in the older formula that job fell to glycerin, sucrose, honey and shea butter. Amway's copy for the older bar described it as mild and biodegradable.

Amway clears it for the face, but the non-comedogenic wording is gone
